Prism Athena

Athena has a light and lofty core of nylon, while the silky covering is all cotton. In other words, the mill has taken a knitted cotton tube and filled it with unspun nylon, prodcuating a yarn that is round, springy and has remarkable yardage for a bulky yarn. Unlike knitted tubes that are empty, Athena does not fold as it is knitted, producing fabric with a soft cotton hand that has body, depth and excellent stitch definition. This intriguing yarn is great for any kind of knitting!
